In the BlackBerry® Administration Service, on the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry Solution topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view. 2. If you must keep at least one BlackBerry Administration Service instance running while you restart all instances, you should restart the instances one at a time and verify that each instance that you restart is running before you restart the next instance. Using the BlackBerry Enterprise Trait Tool The BlackBerry® Enterprise Trait Tool is a stand-alone command line tool that you can use to configure specific BlackBerry® Enterprise Server traits. You can configure most BlackBerry Enterprise Server settings using the BlackBerry Administration Service, but you must use the BlackBerry Enterprise Trait Tool to configure specific settings that are not available in the BlackBerry Administration Service. 328

the services for the component.

If you want to restart all of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server components, you must restart the Windows Services
in the following order:
BlackBerry Administration Service - Application Server
BlackBerry Administration Service - Native Code Container
BlackBerry Mail Store Service
BlackBerry Instant Messaging Connector
BlackBerry MDS Connection Service
BlackBerry Dispatcher
BlackBerry Attachment Service
BlackBerry Controller
All of the remaining services for BlackBerry Enterprise Server components
Best practice: Restarting more than one BlackBerry Administration Service
