You cannot use a proxy server to exchange data between a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service and a BlackBerry MDS Integration Service; a direct HTTP connection is required. You must configure your organization's BlackBerry MDS Connection Service proxy rules with the correct host name to use a direct connection to the BlackBerry MDS Integration Service. Service and a BlackBerry MDS Connection Service
You can make a local or remote BlackBerry® MDS Connection Service available to a BlackBerry MDS Integration Service in the
same BlackBerry Domain. You can make multiple instances of the BlackBerry MDS Connection Service available to the same
BlackBerry MDS Integration Service.
