WiseImage- User's Guide Changing Size This operation is used to resize an image in order to adjust its dimensions to specified values. If the new image size is smaller than that of the original one, then the image edges are cut out. If the new image size is larger than that of the original one, then margins are added to the image. The changes made can be observed in the preview window. All sizes are set in real millimeters or inches with regardless to image insertion scale. To calculate sizes, the program uses the scanning resolution and information on the image size in pixels. If the true scanning resolution is not read from the file, then the default value is used. The operation can only be applied to one image at a time. So, if there is only one available image in the drawing (visible, on unlocked layer), it is automatically selected. Otherwise you should select an image. If you did not select an image before invoking the command, or selected several images, then a dialog box appears, showing the list of all inserted or selected images, and you should select the one to be processed. * For information on default resolution see "Customizing the Program Parameters" on page 32. To resize an image 1. Select an image on the screen and start the operation in one of the following ways: Click the Change Size button on the Raster Image toolbar. Choose Change Size from the rImage menu. - or 2. Start the operation without selecting an image. 3. Select an image you want to process from the dialog box. Changing Size

To resize an image
1.
Select an image on the screen and start the operation in one of the following
ways:
Click the
Change Size
button on the
Raster Image
toolbar.
Choose
