Running Rasterization
Rasterization creates raster copies of vector objects, which are inserted into
selected raster images, lying underneath the rasterized objects. If you rasterize onto
monochrome images, then the obtained raster objects always have the raster
image foreground color.
If you rasterize objects on color images, then their raster copies always inherit the
original image color. If you rasterize on grayscale images, then you will obtain raster
objects with a grey level corresponding to the color brightness of the original vector
objects.
You can rasterize on a group of images. To run rasterization on several images
inserted in the current drawing, if they are available (visible, located on unlocked
layers), you need to select a group of raster images.
*
For more detailed information on the selection procedure see “Selecting
Several Images” on page 20.
Before rasterizing vector objects, check the setup of rasterization widths in the
V2R
Options
dialog box.
To rasterize vector objects
Select the objects whose raster copies you want to insert into raster images, and
start rasterization using one of the following methods:
Choose
V2R
from the
rConvert
menu.
Click the
V2R
button on the
WiseImage
toolbar.
Select the images on which the selected vector objects are to be rasterized,
using the dialog window.
