3 Basics Cursor Menu While performing most WiseImage commands, you can use the cursor menu for fast option selection. These are displayed if you right-click. The same menus are displayed if you right-click on some of the dialog box elements. These menus contain commands which can be applied to the selected element of the dialog box, or facilitate character entry in the dialog box. Preview Window Most WiseImage dialogs intended for enhancing and correcting images are equipped with a preview window, where the result of an operation on a selected image part can be observed while tuning its parameters. Several preview windows can be opened, which allows the user to observe changes on several image fragments simultaneously. The appearance of this window is controlled by the settings of Preview style in the WiseImage tab of Tools/Options command of AutoCAD. - This button turns on/off the results display in the preview window. An image section displayed in the preview window is called a preview area. The color frame on the image indicates the preview area margins. - Zoom in doubles the scale in the preview window. - Zoom 1:1 - displays an image on the screen, so that 1 dot in the preview window corresponds to 1 dot on the image. - Zoom Out halves the scale in the preview window. - Opens/closes a detached preview window. Pressing this button repeatedly opens several preview windows for different parts of the image. If necessary, then you can change the position of the preview area in the image without changing its size (pan). To do this, place the cursor in the preview window (cursor becomes hand-shaped) and drag the cursor to the required position. There is also a special WiseImage command that is used to synchronize the view in the preview window with the main program window. This command can be performed if you work in a dialog box provided with the preview window. This command has three options. Option 1x1 pans an image, so that the central point of the preview area is placed in the Program window center and scales the image according to the scale in the preview window. 17
