3 Basics 3 Basics This chapter introduces the basic elements of the WiseImage interface and introduces the basic skills required to use WiseImage. In this chapter you will find the description of the following procedures: · Starting WiseImage; · Using the WiseImage interface standard elements; · Loading and scaling images; · Scanning images; · Saving images; · Tuning the program operation; · Completing the program operation. Running WiseImage When running WiseImage, AutoCAD starts from the WiseImage root folder. To run WiseImage 1. Click Start on the taskbar, then point to Programs. 2. Click on WiseImage, then choose WiseImage from the folder. AutoCAD starts automatically, and then WiseImage is loaded. WiseImage Toolbars and Menus WiseImage Menus The WiseImage menu can be arranged in two different ways. The default way is to create an extra menu bar. In this case, when starting AutoCAD from WiseImage, six supplementary pull-down menus are added to the standard AutoCAD menu bar, namely: rFile, rEdit, rImage, rFilter, rConvert, and rHelp. Alternatively, only one pull-down cascade menu, WiseImage, is added to the AutoCAD menu bar. The cascade menu consists of six items: File, Edit, Image, Filter, Convert, and Help. When you choose any item, the cascade submenu opens (identical to the corresponding pull-down WiseImage menu). You can change from one menu structure to the other, using the MENULOAD AutoCAD command. 15

3 Basics
This chapter introduces the basic elements of the WiseImage interface and
introduces the basic skills required to use WiseImage.

Running WiseImage
When running WiseImage, AutoCAD starts from the WiseImage root folder.
To run WiseImage
1. Click
