4 Operations with Images This chapter describes the procedures that allow you to correct geometric errors of monochrome, color and grayscale raster images. Such operations are recommended, and in many cases necessary, before applying more complicated procedures such as layering or vectorization. For example, if an original raster image has trapezoid distortion, then after vectorization you will get a vector drawing that is impossible to be corrected. You can avoid this using a four-point correction procedure to eliminate deformations prior to vectorization.
