Card reader/audio board Description Card reader/audio board (includes cable) Spare part number L28660-001 Before removing the card reader/audio board, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33). 6. Remove the right speaker (see Bottom speakers on page 51). Remove the card reader/audio board: 1. Disconnect the cable from the card reader/audio board ZIF connector (1). 2. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×2.0 screws (2) that secure the board to the computer. 3. Lift the board out of the computer (3). Reverse this procedure to install the card reader/audio board. Before removing the card reader/audio board, follow these steps:
1.
Turn
off
the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is
off
or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the bottom cover (see
Bottom cover
on page
31
).
5.
Remove the battery (see
Battery
on page
33
).
6.
Remove the right speaker (see
Bottom speakers
on page
51
).
Remove the card reader/audio board:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the card reader/audio board ZIF connector
(1)
.
2.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0×2.0 screws
(2)
that secure the board to the computer.
3.
Lift the board out of the computer
(3)
.
Reverse this procedure to install the card reader/audio board.
