Bottom speakers Description Bottom speakers (includes cable) Spare part number L28672-001 (Speaker Kit) Before removing the bottom speakers, follow these steps: 1. Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31). 5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33). 6. Remove the hard drive (for left speaker) (see Solid-state drive (2.5 inch) on page 40). Remove the speakers: Left speaker 1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1). 2. Remove the speaker cable from the clips (2). 3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×2.0 screws (3) that secure the speaker to the computer. 4. Remove the speaker (4). Right speaker 1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board (1). 2. Remove the speaker cable from the clips (2). 3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×2.0 screws (3) that secure the speaker to the computer. Component replacement procedures 51

Before removing the bottom speakers, follow these steps:
1.

the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is

1.
