Report Status Checks then reports the current status as reported by the scanner unit firmware. Ready or Not Ready Lamp: ON, OFF, Warming Up, Warmup test not done, Test fail Error: OK, Internal test failure, Test fail, Data capture test fail, Seek Home test fail, Unlocked Check test fail. Perform Selftest Test DRAM Test Homing Test Axis Unlock Test Data Capture Monitor Sensors This test commands the scanner subsystem to perform its built-in self test proceedure, including a DRAM test. The test will fail if the scan head is locked. Tests the scanner subsystem DRAM. Runs the scanner axis seek home procedure. The axis moves a short distance to the left, then moves right to the home sensor. The axis attempts to move a short distance to the right. The test will make strange noises if the scan head lock is still engaged. The scan axis moves to the right, under the calibration strip with the light on, then back to the home position. This monitors all scanner unit sensors. OK or Fail. (This operation may take several minutes to complete.) OK or Fail. (This operation may take several minutes to complete.) OK or Fail.
