[Local] Restricting the Use of the Machine This section explains how to restrict the use of the machine by account or the number of sheets available. The items that can be restricted differ depending on whether "Individual" or "Total" is selected for "Copy/Printer Count". Copier/Printer Count Method Setting (9-42) Restriction Items [Individual] selected for Copy/Printer Count Item Copy (Total) Printer (Total) Scan (Others) FAX Transmission Description Limits the number of sheets used for copying. Limits the number of sheets used for printing. Applicable print functions are those below. • Printing from a box • Printing from removable memory • Printing from PC Limits the number of sheets scanned (excludes copying). Restricts the number of fax sheets that can be sent. Displayed only on products with the optional fax function installed. [Total] selected for Copy/Printer Count Item Print (Total) Scan (Others) FAX Transmission Description Limits the total number of sheets used for copying and printing. Limits the number of sheets scanned (excludes copying). Restricts the number of fax sheets that can be sent. Displayed only on products with the optional fax function installed. Applying Restriction Restriction can be applied in the following modes: Item Off Default Counter Limit Reject Usage Description No restriction is applied.
