System Menu > [Adjustment/Maintenance] Item Correcting Black Line Display Brightness Tone Curve Adjustment Drum Refresh Description Correct fine lines (streaks caused by contamination), which may appear on the image, when the document processor is used. Value: Off, On Set the brightness of the touch panel. Value: 1 (Darker), 2, 3, 4, 5 (Lighter) After prolonged use, or from the effects of surrounding temperature or humidity, the printed output tone may differ from the original. Perform this function to ensure consistency with the original tone. Tone Curve Adjustment (11-25) Remove image blur and white dots from the printout. This process takes about one to two minutes. The time required may vary depending on the operating environment. Drum Refresh (11-26) Auto Drum Refresh Service Settings NOTE Drum Refresh cannot be performed while printing. Execute Drum Refresh after the printing is done. This specifies the Auto Drum Refresh execution time. Value Off: Auto Drum Refresh not performed. Short: Short Auto Drum Refresh execution time. Standard: Standard Auto Drum Refresh execution time. Long: Long Auto Drum Refresh execution time. These settings are for performing machine maintenance and inspection. These are primarily a menu options used by service personnel for maintenance work. *1 Displayed only on products with the optional fax function installed. 8-60
