^CM [Name] Set drive character allocation [Format] ^CM b ,e ,r ,a ,m Parameters Description Range b Memory device to allot drive b ,e ,r ,a = B/E/R/A character B to B: Optional memory device e Memory device to allot drive E: Internal non-volatile memory device character E to R: Internal volatile memory device r Memory device to allot drive A: Optional memory device character R to a Memory device to allot drive character A to m Enable/disable multiple drive m = M / No character input allotment M: Enable multiple drive allotment No character input: Disabled [Function] Sets the allotment of drive character for accessing memory devices. If multiple drive character allotment is enabled based on Parameter m, multiple drive characters can be alloted to a single memory device. In this case, the same memory device can be accessed using all the alloted drive characters. If multiple drive character allotment is disabled based on Parameter m, a different drive character must be alloted to each memory device. Please refer to the "^JU" command section for details. [Usage example] An example of sending data that sets the allotment of drive characters for accessing memory devices and saves settings to the non-volatile memory of the printer unit is shown below. ^XA ^CMR,E,R,E,M 1. Sets the allotment of drive character B to internal volatile memory device, E to internal non-volatile memory device, R to internal volatile memory device, and A to internal non-volatile memory device. ^JUS 2.
