2.4. Print area Print area is the area of a full sheet of paper where the printer will print. Print area is a logical rectangular area in the printer, corresponding to one logical label on a sheet of paper. The top left corner of the print area is the initial home position, which is used as the starting point for printing text and graphics. In the printer specifications, the printing limit area is defined as the maximum printable area. Within the maximum printable area, the area minus the mount (gap) is defined as the printable area. Within the printable area, the area minus margins is defined as the print area. Examples of maximum printable area, printable area, and print area are shown in Figure 2.4.1.
