^HW [Name] Transmit directory list [Format] ^HW d: o .x ,f Parameters Description Range d Target drive d = R/E/B/A/Z R: Volatile memory E: Non-volatile memory B: Optional memory A: Optional memory Z: Non-rewritable memory o File name ASCII code within 8 characters Wild card (Asterisk ) x Extension All extensions Wild card (Asterisk ) f Format f = c/d c: Column mode d: Basic mode [Function]  Transmits the file information saved on the target drive to the host in list format.  The file information specified by the target drive, file name, and extension is transmitted. The file information consists of the file name, extension, and file size.  Specification can be performed using wild cards for Parameters o and x. An asterisk indicates an arbitrary character string.  The response format can be specified using the format. If c is specified for the format, the response lists the file information with the indent aligned for each item. [Response] Transmits multiple pieces of information in a list format separated by a comma , colon , or period . The following is an example response in basic mode. DIR :. *. : *. -bytesfree:  refers to the drive name specified by Parameter d.  refers to the file name specified by Parameter o.  refers to the extension specified by Parameter x.  refers to the size [byte] of the specified file.  refers to the amount of open space [byte] on the drive specified by Parameter d.  refers to the type of the memory device, such as RAM or onboard flash.
