2.4.1 Leading edge and direction definitions The leading edge, top, bottom, left, and right directions, and X and Y directions of the paper are defined as described below.  The edge in the feed direction of the paper is defined as the leading edge.  The direction of the leading edge of the paper is defined as the bottom direction, and its opposite direction is defined as the top direction.  When looking at the print surface of the paper, the left side is defined as the left direction, and the opposite side is defined as the right direction.  The left-right direction is defined as the X axis, with the right direction defined as the positive X direction.  The up-down direction is defined as the Y axis, with the down direction defined as the positive Y direction. Leading edge and direction definitions
2.4.1
The leading edge, top, bottom, left, and right directions, and X and Y directions of the paper are defined
as described below.
The edge in the feed direction of the paper is defined as the leading edge.
The direction of the leading edge of the paper is defined as the bottom direction, and its opposite
direction is defined as the top direction.
When looking at the print surface of the paper, the left side is defined as the left direction, and the
opposite side is defined as the right direction.
The left-right direction is defined as the X axis, with the right direction defined as the positive X
direction.
The up-down direction is defined as the Y axis, with the down direction defined as the positive Y
direction.
