~H(C [Name] Send printer operation mode [Format] ~H(C a ,b Parameters Description Range a Printer operation mode a = 2-character ASCII string function identifier For details, see Appendix A List of Printer Operation Modes. b Printer operation mode b = 1-character ASCII string object identifier For details, see Appendix A List of Printer Operation Modes. [Function] Sends the printer operation mode specified in Parameter a, b to the host. [Initial value] None [Response] The printer sends printer operation mode values according to the following data formats. comma comma Control code that indicates start of text (02H) "^S(C" fixed 4 characters 2-character ASCII string specified in Parameter a 1-character ASCII string specified in Parameter b ASCII character string of undefined length Control code that indicates end of text (03H) Control code that indicates carriage return (0DH) Control code that indicates line feed (0AH) The printer does not respond if Parameter a is not 2 characters, or if it is not an ASCII character string. A character which follows the parameter a and comma is treated as parameter b. The printer does not respond if Parameter b is not an ASCII character string. If an undefined identifier is specified for Parameter a or Parameter b, is set to "#NA" and sent to the host. If Parameter a or Parameter b is omitted, the printer does not respond.
