Appendix A: List of Printer Operation Modes A printer operation mode is information that determines the operation of the printer. The list of printer operation modes is shown in Table A-1. Use the "^S(C" (Set printer operation mode) command and the "~H(C" (Send printer operation mode) command to set and request the printer operation mode values. When using these commands, specify < Function identifier > and as the command parameter. Printer operation mode values are volatile, and return to their initial values when the printer is turned off or reset. Use the "^JU" (save/load setting value) command to change the initial values in printer operation mode.  Use the "^S(C" command to set printer operation mode values.  Use the "~H(C" command to get printer operation mode values.  Use the "^JU" command to change the initial values in printer operation mode. In Table A-1, the printer operation mode whose definition range may vary depending on the model is checked at the column of "Model dependence for definition range". The printer operation mode whose function may not be supported depending on the model is checked at the column of "Model dependence for function support". The factory-set initial values for each setting in printer operation mode depend on the printer model. Refer to the attached Command List also for details regarding model dependence. printer operation modes is shown in Table A-1.
