2.4.6 Print requests outside the print area The user prints text and graphics within the print area set in the printer, with the home position as the starting point. If you attempt to print text or graphics outside the print area, the portion that falls outside the print area will not be printed. For example, if a portion of the text string "CDE" falls outside of the print area, as shown in Figure 2.4.7, only the portion that falls within the print area will actually be printed on the paper.
