^MN [Name] Set label edge detection [Format] ^MN s Parameters Description Range s Label edge detection s = N/Y/W/M N: Continuous paper (Does not detect label edge) Y, W: Gap detection M: Black mark detection [Function]  Sets the label edge detection method.  Parameter s selects the label edge detection method. Select either "does not detect label edge ", "black mark detection", or "gap detection" for the label edge detection method.  If N is specified for Parameter s, "does not detect label edge" is set for the label edge detection method. Printer control, such as label feeding to home position, is performed based on the label length set in the printer.  If Y or W is specified for Parameter s, "gap detection" is set for the label edge detection method. Printer control, such as label feeding to home position, is performed based on the gap between labels.  If M is specified for Parameter s, "black mark detection" is set for the label edge detection method. Printer control, such as label feeding to home position, is performed based on the black mark. [Response] None [Reference] Related commands: None [Note] The ^JUS command is required to save settings to the non-volatile memory of the printer unit. Please refer to the "^JU" command section for details. [Usage example] An example of sending data that sets the label edge detection method and saves settings to the non-volatile memory of the printer unit is shown below. ^XA ^MNM 1.
