SNMP Configuration Commands 483 Description Use the snmp-agent local-engineid command to configure a name for a local or remote SNMP engine on the Switch. Use the undo snmp-agent local-engineid command to restore the default setting of engine ID. Device information is determined according to different products. It can be IP address, MAC address or user defined text. However, you must use numbers in hexadecimal form.
