Change the name of the BlackBerry Administration Service pool Before you begin: If you want to configure high availability for the BlackBerry® Administration Service by creating a BlackBerry Administration Service pool using DNS round robin, create the DNS record that represents the BlackBerry Administration Service instances in the pool. 1. On a computer that hosts a BlackBerry Administration Service instance, in the BlackBerry Configuration Panel, on the Administration Service - High Availability tab, in the Pool name field, type a new name for the pool. 2. Click OK. 3. On the computer that hosts a BlackBerry Monitoring Service instance, in the BlackBerry Configuration Panel, on the Administration Service - High Availability tab, click the Synchronize button. 4. Click OK. 5. On the computer that hosts a BlackBerry Administration Service instance, in the Windows® Services, restart the BlackBerry Administration Service services. 6. If the BlackBerry Administration Service instance uses a self-signed certificate, on the computers that host the other BlackBerry Administration Service instances, in the Windows Services, restart the BlackBerry Administration Service services. 7. On the computer that hosts a BlackBerry Monitoring Service instance, in the Windows Services, restart the BlackBerry Monitoring Service services.
