Mix ratio, Material cartridges

Page 63 highlights

Mix ratio The default mix ratio is up to 80% reusable material. However, when submitting a job through HP SmartStream 3D Build Manager, you can select your preferred mix ratio. When a job is selected to print, the correct levels of both fresh and reusable material can be added through guided workflows on the front panel before the start of printing. Some jobs can be printed successfully only by adjusting the mix ratio based on the printer capacity. If the submitted job exceeds the capacity of the printer, return to the build submission software to reduce the height of the build or the packing density. Material cartridges The material cartridges dispense the material in the printer. Each material cartridge has a capacity of 10 liters. The printer will not accept cartridges that have been modified or tampered with. See the material list for ordering information. There are two material cartridge slots, one for fresh material (on the left) and the other for reusable material (on the right). Any time you remove an empty cartridge from the fresh slot, be sure to peel off the fresh material label to reveal the reusable material label underneath. This cartridge can now be filled with reusable material and used in the reusable material slot. Both fresh and reusable cartridges must be installed in order to print. NOTE: Waste material that has not been automatically reclaimed should not be reintroduced into the system: it could cause print-quality issues. You can store empty, partially full, or full reusable cartridges for later use. Do not throw away the blue material cartridge cap. Storage for the caps is provided on the interior of the material door. Any time you remove a material cartridge from the printer, be sure to put the cap back on. Special care must be taken to avoid personal injury when handling heavy cartridges.
