9 Security Settings Security Settings If needed, make the following settings: See below for detailed information. • Device Security • Network Security • Certificates Device Security This section includes settings for device security. Interface Block This page allows you to restrict access from each interface. 1. Click Device Security under Security Settings on the navigation menu. The Device Security Settings page opens. 2. This section includes the following items for configuration. Network Access from the network interface cannot be restricted. Access should be restricted depending on the protocol. For more details, see the Protocol Settings page under Network Settings. USB Device To block accesses from the devices connected to the USB port, select Block. USB Host To block accesses from the USB host devices, select Block. USB Drive To block accesses from the Drives connected to the USB port, select Block. 3. Click Submit button. Lock Operation Panel Restricts access from the operation panel. 1. Click Device Security under Security Settings on the navigation menu. The Device Security Settings page opens. 2. Select the drop-down list, click Lock, Partial lock 1, Partial lock 2, Partial lock 3 or Unlock in the operation remain. This section includes the following items for configuration. User Guide 57
