Perform cleaning in the following situations. O When streaks or smears caused by drops of ink appear on the surface of the prints O When you want to avoid streaks or smears caused by drops of ink appearing in the prints To perform this type of cleaning, you need the optional Print Head Maintenance Kit (C12C890991). Click Head Maintenance (036) from the CR Unit Adjustment/Maintenance (03) menu. Print Head Maintenance
To prevent print head quality from declining, or to restore print quality, clean the print head unit and the wipers for
the print head.
Perform cleaning in the following situations.

When streaks or smears caused by drops of ink appear on the surface of the prints
O
When you want to avoid streaks or smears caused by drops of ink appearing in the prints
To perform this type of cleaning, you need the optional Print Head Maintenance Kit (C12C890991).
Click Head Maintenance (036) from the CR Unit Adjustment/Maintenance (03) menu.
