Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions section. 2. Keep the Phillips #2 screwdriver ready. 3. Install the 2.5-inch hot swappable hard drive into the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter. Steps 1. Insert the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter into the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier with the connector end of the hard drive toward the back of the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier. 2. Align the screw holes on the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter and the 3.5-inch hard drive with the holes on the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier. 3. Install the screws to secure the 3.5-inch hard drive adapter to the 3.5-inch hot swappable hard drive carrier. Figure 26.
