Installation and Administration Guide Running the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter from the command prompt Item Description /basdomain This parameter specifies the Microsoft Active Directory domain for the BlackBerry Administration Service. Use this parameter when you specify /basauthtype ad_auth. /basusername This parameter specifies the user name of the administrator account that the tool uses to authenticate with the BlackBerry Administration Service when it uses BlackBerry Administration Service authentication. Use this parameter when you specify /basauthtype bas_auth. If you use this parameter, you must also specify /baspassword . /baspassword This parameter specifies the password of the administrator account that the tool uses to authenticate with the BlackBerry Administration Service when it uses BlackBerry Administration Service authentication. Use this parameter when you specify /basauthtype bas_auth. If you use this parameter, you must also specify a value for the /basusername parameter. /dominoid : This parameter specifies the path to the user.id file. This parameter is required in a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Lotus Domino environment only. /dominopassword This parameter specifies the password that the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter uses for the user.id file. This parameter is required in a BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IBM Lotus Domino environment only. /manifestPath : This parameter specifies the path to the manifest file. If you do not specify a path, the tool uses the manifest.xml file that is in the folder that the tool is installed in. If the file path contains spaces, enclose the file path in quotation marks ( " " ). Example: Preview the migration process using BlackBerry Administration Service authentication enterprisetransporter /console /preview /basauthtype bas_auth /basusername admin /baspassword password /manifestPath "C:\Users\besadmin\Desktop\ET manifest files" Example: Preview the migration process using Active Directory authentication enterprisetransporter /console /preview /basauthtype ad_auth /basdomain domain1.testnet.net / manifestPath "C:\Users\besadmin\Desktop\ET manifest files" After you finish: In a Microsoft Exchange messaging environment, to stop the preview migration process, press CTRL +BREAK. To shut down the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter, press CTRL+C. 58

/basdomain <

Administration Service.
