Installation and Administration Guide System requirements System requirements 2 System requirements: BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter Note: You can use the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter to move user accounts to a destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server in a different MDM domain, but the tool does not migrate server settings to the destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Prior to using the tool, evaluate the available migration options. For more information about the available migration options, visit www.blackberry.com/go/serverdocs to read the BlackBerry Enterprise Server Upgrade Guide. Item BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter version Operating system Requirement Use the latest available version of the BlackBerry Enterprise Transporter, regardless of the version of the source BlackBerry Enterprise Server and destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Any of the following operating systems: • Windows 7 • Windows Server 2008 R2 • Windows Server 2008 • Windows Vista • Windows Server 2003 SP1 or later • Windows XP Professional SP2 Microsoft .NET Framework • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later Encryption algorithm • Triple DES, AES, or both Triple DES and AES Configure the source BlackBerry Enterprise Server and the destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server to use the same option for the encryption algorithm. For example, if you configure the source BlackBerry Enterprise Server to use Triple DES and the destination BlackBerry Enterprise Server to use Triple DES and AES, this 12
