106 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT • Remove the push rod. the fork leg from the vise. • Remove Loosen the front fork cylinder unit with the top • plug wrenchleft (special tool: 57001-1645). A. Push Rod NOTICE Removing the locknut and pushing the piston rod thread into the left front fork cylinder unit will damage the oil seal. Do not remove the locknut from the piston rod. A. Remove the push rod.
A. Push Rod
NOTICE
Removing the locknut and pushing the piston
rod thread into the left front fork cylinder unit
will damage the oil seal. Do not remove the
locknut from the piston rod.
•
Remove the fork leg from the vise.
•
Loosen the left front fork cylinder unit with the top
plug wrench (special tool: 57001-1645).
A. Left Front Fork Cylinder Unit
B. Left Front Fork Outer Tube
C. Top Plug Wrench (Special Tool: 57001-1645)
