Nut the locknut securely. • Tighten Reinstall the rubber boot making sure that the pro• jections on its lower edge are completely pushed into the holes in the bracket. żBe sure to hold the cable end with a wrench to prevent the cable from twisting. żIf the brake lever can not be adjusted with the nuts shown here, or if there is any doubt as to the condition or braking effectiveness, have the parking brake system inspected by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
