Apply the brake forcefully for a few seconds and

WARNING
Air in brake line can make the brake feel

This may cause reduced
braking performance or brake failure and
result in an accident.
If brake lever travel
is excessive or the brake feels mushy, have
an authorized Kawasaki dealer inspect it
immediately.
Fluid Change
Have the brake fluid changed by an authorized
Kawasaki dealer.
Brake Light Switch
When the brake pedal is depressed, the brake light
goes on. The brake light switch should be inspected

Inspection
Turn the main switch to the “ON” position.
Depress the brake pedal. The brake light should
go on after about 10 mm (0.4 in.) of pedal travel.
