Funzione regolazione orologio Premere il pulsante (1, fig. 8) per almeno 2 secondi. Selezionare AM/PM premendo il pulsante (2, fig. 8). Premere il pulsante (1) per confermare la selezione e passare così alla regolazione dell'ora. Funzione registrazione del tempo sul giro Questa funzione permette di cronometrare il tempo sul giro, visualizzando anche la velocità e il numero di giri più elevato, in riferimento al giro cronometrato. Il sistema immobilizer Per aumentare la protezione contro il furto, il motociclo è dotato di un sistema elettronico di blocco del motore (IMMOBILIZER) che si attiva automaticamente ogni volta che si spegne il quadro. I Code card Insieme alle chiavi viene consegnata una CODE CARD (fig. 15) sulla quale è riportato il codice elettronico (A, fig. 16), da utilizzare in caso di blocco motore e quindi mancata accensione dopo il key-on. Procedura di sblocco immobilizer tramite manopola acceleratore 1) Portare la chiave su ON e ruotare completamente la manopola acceleratore mantenendola ruotata. Leva comando frizione La leva (1) che aziona il disinnesto della frizione è dotata di pomello (2) per la regolazione della distanza tra la leva stessa e la manopola sul semimanubrio. I Leva comando starter (fig. 20) Il comando starter (1) serve per agevolare la partenza a freddo del motore e innalzare il regime di rotazione minimo, dopo l'avviamento. Commutatore destro (fig. 21) 1) Interruttore ARRESTO MOTORE, a due posizioni: posizione (RUN) = marcia; posizione (OFF) = arresto del motore. Attenzione Questo interruttore serve soprattutto nei casi di emergenza quando è necessario spegnere velocemente il motore. I Leva comando freno anteriore (fig. 22) Tirando la leva (1) verso la manopola girevole si aziona il freno anteriore. È sufficiente un minimo sforzo della mano per azionare questo dispositivo in quanto il funzionamento è idraulico. Pedale comando freno posteriore (fig. 23) Per azionare il freno posteriore, premere il pedale (1) verso il basso con il piede. Il sistema di comando è di tipo idraulico. Ruotare di 1/4 di giro la chiave in senso orario per sbloccare la serratura. Sollevare il tappo. Regolazione sella - serbatoio È possibile modificare in direzione assiale la posizione dell'intero gruppo sella-serbatoio-codone, rispetto al telaietto posteriore (1). Cavalletto laterale (fig. 32) I Importante Prima d'azionare il cavalletto laterale, accertarsi dell'adeguata consistenza e planarità della superficie d'appoggio. Avviamento motore I Note Per avviare il motore già caldo seguite la procedura descritta per "Temperatura ambiente alta". Frenata Rallentare per tempo, scalare per utilizzare il freno motore e poi frenare agendo su entrambi i freni. Prima che il motociclo si arresti, disinserire la frizione per evitare che il motore si spenga improvvisamente. OPERAZIONI D'USO E MANUTENZIONE PRINCIPALI Rimozione della vestizione Per poter effettuare alcuni interventi di manutenzione o riparazione è necessario rimuovere alcune parti della vestizione del motociclo. Cupolino Note Per rimuovere il cupolino dal veicolo è necessario rimuovere prima gli specchi retrovisori e le carene laterali come precedentemente illustrato. Smontare il cruscotto (1) estraendolo dai gommini di ritegno (2). Scollegare le connessioni della lampadina della luce di posizione. Svitare - 2005 Ducati Superbike 749R | Owners Manual - Page 59
I Controllo ed eventuale rabbocco livello liquido di raffreddamento (fig. 53) Controllare il livello del liquido di raffreddamento contenuto nel serbatoio d'espansione, sul lato destro del motociclo; deve risultare compreso tra le due tacche (1) e (2): la tacca più lunga (2) equivale al livello MAX - 2005 Ducati Superbike 749R | Owners Manual - Page 60
Rimuovere la carena destra (pag. 55). Svitare il tappo di carico (3, fig. 54) e aggiungere una miscela d'acqua e antigelo SHELL Advance Coolant o Glycoshell (35÷40% del volume) fino a raggiungere il livello MAX. I Controllo livello fluido frizione e freni Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. 55) (in figura sono rappresentati i serbatoi liquido freno anteriore e posteriore). Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 56 e fig. 57) Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. Sulla pastiglia in buone condizioni debbono essere ben visibili le scanalature praticate sul materiale d' - 2005 Ducati Superbike 749R | Owners Manual - Page 63
I Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna dei cavi di comando acceleratore e starter. ➤ ➤ Regolazione corsa a vuoto comando acceleratore La manopola di comando acceleratore in tutte le posizioni di sterzata deve avere una corsa a vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del bordino della manopola, di 1,5÷2,0 mm. I Carica della batteria (fig. 61) Per ricaricare la batteria è consigliabile rimuoverla dal motociclo. Rimuovere la carena sinistra (pag. 55), svitare la vite (1) e rimuovere la staffa di fissaggio superiore. Modifica dell'inclinazione del cannotto di sterzo Prima di modificare l'angolo di sterzo è necessario rimuovere l'ammortizzatore di sterzo, svitando le viti di fissaggio (1 e 2).
