7 TROUBLESHOOTING/MAINTENANCE - USER/DEALER 7 Troubleshooting/Maintenance - User/Dealer 7.1 Troubleshooting Electrical SYMPTOM PROBABLE CAUSE • Electric functions do not move. • End of stroke reached. • Bed not plugged in. • Pendant not functioning. • Cables. • Household fuse or breaker blown. USER SOLUTIONS DEALER SOLUTIONS • Operate opposite button. • Operate opposite button. • Ensure power cord is plugged into power source. • Ensure power cord is plugged into power source. • Ensure motor and power supply are plugged into bus cable. • Ensure pendant cable not entangled/pinched. • Ensure pendant cable not entangled/pinched. • Ensure pendant is correctly connected to power supply. Refer to Electrical Connections on page 55 • Ensure cables are not entangled/pinched. • Call the dealer for repair/replacement of cables and/or motors. • Ensure motor cable(s) and power supply are correctly connected. Refer to Assembling the Drive Shaft on page 51. • Ensure cables are not entangled/pinched. • Call Invacare for instructions to repair/replacement of cables and/or motors. • Check household fuse/breaker N/A box.
