5 OPERATION 5.2 Operating the Bed  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1 on page 37. To disable operation of the electric bed, lift connector cap and unplug the pendant cable from the bus cable port. To cut power to the bed, remove the power cord plug from the electrical outlet. Raising and Lowering the Entire Bed • To raise the entire bed, press the "Bed Up" button. • To lower the entire bed, press the "Bed Down" button.  The G-Series bed is capable of a height adjustment range of 15.25 ± 2 to 32.25 ± 2 inches. Under Normal Use, the bed should operate in a height range of 15.25 ± 2 to 23.00 ± 2 inches. Raising and Lowering the Head and Foot Sections • To raise the head of the bed, press the "Head Up" button; To lower the head of the bed, press the "Head Down" button. • To raise the foot of the bed, press the "Foot Up" button; To lower the foot of the bed, press the "Foot Down" button. Operating the Bed
Raising and Lowering the Entire Bed
•
To raise the entire bed, press the "Bed Up" button.
•
To lower the entire bed, press the "Bed Down" button.
Raising and Lowering the Head and Foot Sections
•
To raise the head of the bed, press the "Head Up" button; To lower the head of the bed, press the "Head Down" button.
•
To raise the foot of the bed, press the "Foot Up" button; To lower the foot of the bed, press the "Foot Down" button.
For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1 on page 37.
