GENERAL INFORMATION 51 Oil Level Inspection Check the engine oil level each day before operating your watercraft and add oil if necessary. Refer to the Pre-Ride Check List in Operating Instruction chapter. Whenever you check the oil level, keep your watercraft level side to side and fore to aft as much as possible. Remove the dipstick, wipe it dry and insert it back into the dipstick tube so that the finger grip is positioned toward the left side of the hull, and then remove it again to check the oil level. j • • • NOTE żAn accurate oil level cannot be obtained if the dipstick is not installed in the correct direction. Oil Level Inspection
Check the engine oil level each day before operat-
ing your watercraft and add oil if necessary. Refer
to the Pre-Ride Check List in Operating Instruction
chapter.
Whenever you check the oil level, keep your wa-
tercraft level side to side and fore to aft as much
as possible.
Remove the dipstick, wipe it dry and insert it back
into the dipstick tube so that the finger grip is po-
sitioned toward the left side of the hull, and then
remove it again to check the oil level.
NOTE
°
An accurate oil level cannot be obtained if the dip-
stick is not installed in the correct direction.
A. Dipstick
B. Dipstick Tube
C. Left Side
The oil level must be between the “H” (High) and
“L” (Low) level on the stick.
Use the cold level
mark.
NOTE
°
Be careful when reading the dipstick as different
level marks on the dipskick should be used de-
pending if the oil is warm or cold. See the next
illustration.
