Let the engine idle for several minutes with the
water running.
Turn off the water.
Leave the engine idling

Rev the engine few times to clear the water out of
the exhaust system.
NOTICE
Lack of cooling water causes overheating
which will cause severe engine and exhaust
system damage.
Do not run the engine
without cooling water flow for more than 15
seconds.
Switch off the engine, and remove the garden
hose, reinstall the cap securely.
Bilge System Flushing
To prevent clogging, the bilge system should be
flushed out according to the
Periodic Maintenance
Chart
, or whenever you suspect it is blocked.
Remove the handrail plate by removing the nuts
and bolts.

Disconnect all bilge hoses at the plastic breather
fittings. They are mounted on the rear upper cor-
ner in the engine compartment.
