Night Mode (For the WXF1 / VXF1 ) You can record images even in very low light situations (minimum required illumination: approx. 0.5 lx) or in the dark. Each time the icon is selected, the indication changes by one setting in the following order: ([COLOR]) # ([Infrared]) # [OFF] ≥ When [ (Night Mode)] is to be set in an Fn button with the [FN BUTTON SETTING], the setting changes each time you press the Fn button. ([COLOR]): ([Infrared]): OFF: Allows you to record color images in very low light situations. Allows you to record images in the dark. Cancel the setting. ≥ When [REC MODE] is set to [24p], ([COLOR]) is not displayed. ≥ (For the WXF1 ) When a sub window is being displayed during recording with the Twin Camera function, ([Infrared]) is not displayed. ∫ To set ON/OFF of the infrared light for ([Infrared]) MENU : [RECORD SETUP] # [INFRARED LIGHT] # [ON] or [OFF] ≥ When is displayed after you set the item to [ON], you can record images in the dark. ≥ When you are in a dim place or in other situations where it is difficult to focus with Auto Focus, set the item to [OFF]. ≥ If you turn off and on this unit and select ([Infrared]), [INFRARED LIGHT] will be set to [ON]. (For the VX1 / V800 ) This function allows you to record color images in very low light situations. (Minimum required illumination: approx. 0.5 lx) It will switch every time the icon is touched. ([COLOR]) # [OFF] ≥ Using a tripod is recommended. ≥ In darker areas, Auto Focus may focus a bit slower. This is normal. ≥ (For the WXF1 / VXF1 ) The Night Mode setting cannot be changed while Slow Zoom is working. (l 74) Night Mode ([COLOR]) ≥ Recorded scene is seen as if frames were missed. ≥ If set in a bright place, the screen may become washed out for a while. ≥ Bright dots that are usually invisible may be seen, but this is not a malfunction. - 96 -
