Advanced (Recording) Manual recording ≥ The Manual Focus, White Balance, Shutter Speed, Brightness (Iris and gain) settings are retained when you change between Motion Picture Recording Mode and Still Picture Recording Mode. WXF1 / VXF1 Adjust by operating the Manual ring You can adjust zoom, focus, and brightness (iris and gain) by operating the Manual ring.    WB MNL SHTR D Manual icon E Manual ring setting A Manual ring B AUTO/MANUAL button C Camera function button 1 Press the camera function button to change the manual ring setting. ≥ The setting changes each time you press the button. ZOOM FOCUS IRIS 2 Rotate the Manual ring to adjust. ≥ For details about focus and brightness (iris and gain), refer to the following pages. j Focus (l 85) j Iris Adjustment (l 84) ≥ To adjust the White Balance and shutter speed, touch the Manual icon. (l 80) ≥ Some functions are disabled depending on settings such as the recording mode. ≥ In the following Recording Modes, the mode will automatically switch to the Manual Mode when the camera function button is pressed. (l 63) j Intelligent Auto Mode/Intelligent Auto Plus Mode j Creative Control Mode ≥ To cancel the manual settings, change the Recording Mode to the Intelligent Auto Mode. ≥ The Manual ring setting switches to ZOOM when the unit is turned off and then on again. - 79 -
