Problem Remaining battery indication is not displayed properly. Indication Check points ≥ The remaining battery capacity indication is an approximation. If the remaining battery capacity indication is not displayed correctly, fully charge the battery, discharge it and then charge it again. Problem The unit arbitrarily stops recording. Auto Focus function does not work. Color balance of images is strange when recording in a place such as a gymnasium. Color or brightness of the image changes, or you may see horizontal bars in the image. The LCD monitor flickers indoors. Recording Check points ≥ Use an SD card that can be used for motion picture recording. (l 17) ≥ The recordable time may have shortened due to the deterioration of the data writing speed or repeated recording and deletion. Using the unit, format the SD card. (l 48) ≥ If [AGS] is [ON], record in the normal horizontal position or set [AGS] to [OFF]. (l 104) ≥ Switch to Intelligent Auto Mode or Intelligent Auto Plus Mode. ≥ If you are trying to record a scene which is hard to bring into focus in Auto Focus Mode, use the Manual Focus Mode to adjust the focus. (l 66, 85) ≥ In a place with multiple light sources, such as a gymnasium or a hall, set the White Balance setting to (Indoor mode 2). If you cannot record clearly with the (Indoor mode 2), set it to (Manual adjustment mode). (l 81) ≥ Color or brightness of the image may change, or you may see horizontal bars in the image when the object is recorded under fluorescent light, mercury light or sodium light, etc., but this is not a malfunction. ≥ In Motion Picture Recording Mode, record in Intelligent Auto Mode/Intelligent Auto Plus Mode or set the shutter speed as follows: j When [REC FORMAT] is set to [24p]: Set to 1/50 seconds in areas where the power supply frequency is 50 Hz, or 1/60 seconds in areas where the frequency is 60 Hz. j When [REC FORMAT] is set to a setting other than [24p]: Set to 1/100 seconds in areas where the power supply frequency is 50 Hz, or 1/60 seconds in areas where the frequency is 60 Hz. ≥ In Still Picture Recording Mode, this will not affect the recorded image. ≥ In the following cases, setting the shutter speed to 1/100 seconds reduces the intensity of the problem: j In FULL HD Slow Motion Mode j (For the WXF1 / VXF1 / VX1 ) Slow & Quick Video Mode - 261 -
