SECTION 7-MAINTENANCE Replacing the Swivel Bar or Optional Cradle Attachment ƽ WARNING After the first year of use, the hooks of the swivel bar and mounting brackets of the boom should be inspected every six months to determine the extent of wear. If these parts become worn, replacement MUST be made. NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.4. 1. Remove the side covers. NOTE: Support the swivel bar or cradle attachment from underneath while removing the attaching hardware. 2. Remove the socket head screw, washer, bushings, nylon spacers, washer and nut that attach the swivel bar or cradle attachment to the boom. NOTE: When the attaching hardware is removed, the pin, washer and o‐ring will become loose. 3. To install the swivel bar, reverse STEPS 1‐2. CAUTION DO NOT overtighten the nut and socket head screw. This damages the mounting bracket. WARNING
