Locknut tightening torque: 59 Nm (5.9 m·kgf, 43 ft·lbf) WARNING Do not grease the throttle cable because it could become frozen, which could cause loss of control. Apply a dab of grease onto the cable end only. Lubricants: Brake lever: Silicone grease Other lubrication points: Low-temperature grease 7. 8. 9. Recheck alignment and deflection. If necessary, repeat steps 3 to 6 until the proper adjustment is achieved. Lower the snowmobile to the ground. Tighten the rear axle nut. Lower the snowmobile to the ground.

Tighten the rear axle nut.
Slide runners
Check the slide runners for wear and dam-
age.
If the slide runners reach the wear limit, they
should be replaced.

Ride on fresh snow frequently. Operating
on ice or hard-packed snow will rapidly
wear the slide runners.

Lubrication
Lubricate the following points with the speci-
fied grease.
