Remove the shroud, the left and right side covers, and the top cover. (See page 42 for removal procedures.) Remove the headlight unit bolt on each side of the snowmobile. 1 (a) 2 (b) 3. 1 3 1. Headlight unit bolt 4. Unhook the headlight unit as shown, then lift it up and move it forward, away from the handlebar. NOTICE: Be careful not to scratch the snowmobile when moving the headlight unit. [ECS00920] 1. Locknut 2. Throttle cable free play adjusting bolt 3. Throttle cable free play Throttle cable free play: 2.0-3.0 mm (0.08-0.12 in) 7. 8. Tighten the locknut. Adjusting the throttle cable free
play
1.
Place the snowmobile on a level surface
and apply the parking brake.
2.
Remove the shroud, the left and right
side covers, and the top cover. (See page
42 for removal procedures.)
3.
Remove the headlight unit bolt on each
side of the snowmobile.
4.
Unhook the headlight unit as shown, then
lift it up and move it forward, away from
the handlebar.
NOTICE:
Be careful not
to scratch the snowmobile when mov-
ing the headlight unit.

5.
Loosen the locknut.
6.
To increase the throttle cable free play,
turn the adjusting bolt in direction (a). To
decrease the throttle cable free play, turn
the adjusting bolt in direction (b).
7.
Tighten the locknut.
8.
Place the headlight unit in the original po-
sition, making sure to insert the projec-
tions on the headlight unit stay into the
slots on the bottom of the headlight unit.
