E Parking Stop and park the motorcycle on the side stand (see page 22). To avoid theft, turn the handlebar fully left and block it by pushing in the ignition key and turning it to the LOCK position (fig. 22.2). If you park in a garage or other facilities, make sure that there is proper ventilation and that the motorcycle is not near a source of heat or sparks. You may leave the parking lights on by turning the key to position P (fig. 22.2). Important Do not leave the key turned to P for long periods or the battery will run down.
