I Leva comando frizione (fig. 7) La leva (1) che aziona il disinnesto della frizione, è dotata di pomello (2) per la regolazione della distanza tra la leva stessa e la manopola, sul manubrio. Leva comando starter (fig. 8) Il comando starter (1) serve per agevolare la partenza a freddo del motore e innalzare il regime di rotazione minimo, dopo l'avviamento. I Commutatore destro (fig. 9) 1) Interruttore ARRESTO MOTORE, a due posizioni: posizione (RUN) = marcia. posizione (OFF) = arresto del motore. Tappo serbatoio carburante (fig. 13) I Apertura Sollevare il coperchietto (1) di protezione ed inserire la chiave nella serratura. Ruotare di 1/4 di giro la chiave in senso orario per sbloccare la serratura. Sollevare il tappo. Serratura sella e portacasco Apertura (fig. 14.1) Inserire la chiave nella serratura (1) e ruotarla in senso orario. Cavalletto laterale (fig. 15) I Importante Prima d'azionare il cavalletto laterale, accertarsi dell'adeguata consistenza e planarità della superficie d'appoggio. Ammortizzatore di sterzo (fig. 16) È posizionato davanti al serbatoio ed è fissato al telaio e alla testa di sterzo. La sua azione contribuisce a rendere lo sterzo più preciso e più stabile, migliorando la guidabilità del motociclo in ogni condizione. I Registri di regolazione forcella anteriore La forcella del motociclo è regolabile sia nella fase di estensione (ritorno) sia nella compressione degli steli. Le regolazioni STANDARD sono le seguenti: compressione: 10 scatti; estensione: 12 scatti. Il valore massimo, a cui corrisponde la regolazione di minima frenatura, è di 24 scatti (estensione) e 28 scatti (compressione). Arresto del motociclo Ridurre la velocità, scalare di marcia e rilasciare la manopola dell'acceleratore. Scalare fino ad inserire la prima e successivamente la folle. I Parcheggio Parcheggiare il motociclo fermo sul cavalletto laterale (vedi pag. 22). Sterzare completamente a sinistra e portare la chiave nella posizione LOCK (fig. 22.2) per prevenire i furti. Cupolino (fig. 26.1) Svitare la vite centrale (1) di fissaggio degli specchietti retrovisori e sganciateli dai supporti del cupolino. I Sostituzione e pulizia dei filtri aria (fig. 27.1) I filtri aria devono essere sostituiti agli intervalli prescritti nella tabella di manutenzione periodica (vedi Libretto di Garanzia). Controllo livello liquido di raffreddamento (fig. 28.1) Controllare il livello del liquido di raffreddamento contenuto nel serbatoio d'espansione, sul lato sinistro del motociclo; deve risultare compreso tra i riferimenti di MAX e di MIN del serbatoio. I Controllo livello fluido frizione e freni Il livello non deve scendere al di sotto della tacca di MIN evidenziata sui rispettivi serbatoi (fig. 29). Verifica usura pastiglie freno (fig. 30) Per facilitare il controllo delle pastiglie dei freni, senza doverle rimuovere dalla pinza, ogni pastiglia riporta un indicatore di consumo. I Lubrificazione delle articolazioni Periodicamente è necessario controllare le condizioni della guaina esterna del cavo di comando acceleratore e comando starter. Carica della batteria (fig. 32) Per ricaricare la batteria è consigliabile rimuoverla dal motociclo. Rimuovere la semicarena destra (pag. 36), svitare la vite (1) e rimuovere la staffa di fissaggio superiore. I Modifica dell'inclinazione del cannotto di sterzo (fig. 33.1) Modificare l'inclinazione del cannotto di sterzo allentando le due viti (1) sul lato destro del telaio. Controllo tensione catena trasmissione (fig. 34) Far girare lentamente la ruota posteriore per trovare la posizione in cui la catena risulta più tesa. Luce arresto (fig. 38.1) Per la sostituzione delle lampadine luce arresto e luce di posizione, è necessario sollevare il codone e svitare le due viti (1) che fissano il coperchio (2). Tank filler plug (fig. 13) Opening Lift the protection lid (1) and fit the ignition key into the lock. Turn the key clockwise 1/4 turn to unlock. Lift the plug. Seat catch and helmet hook Opening (fig. 14.1) Fit the ignition key into the lock (1) and turn the key clockwise. Pull gently the tail guard (2) outwards and lift it until it rests onto the fuel tank. On the rear end of the compartment underneath the seat, there is the helmet fastening cable. Stopping the motorcycle If you let go of the throttle twistgrip, the motorcycle will slow down gradually and smoothly. Then, shift down releasing the clutch, and finally change from first to neutral. Checking brake and clutch fluid level Fluid level should never fall below the MIN mark on each reservoir (fig. 29). If level drops below the limit, air might get into the circuit and affect the operation of the system involved. Checking brake pads for wear (fig. 30) To facilitate inspection without removing the pads from the calipers, brake pads have a wear mark. If the grooves in the friction material are still visible, the pad is still in good condition. E Lubricating cables and joints The condition of the outer sheaths of the throttle and fast-idle cables should be checked at regular intervals. The sheaths should show no signs of squeezing or cracking.
