CAUTION Ensure both motor release levers are fully engaged before driving the wheelchair NOTE: The motor lock disengagement/engagement allows freewheeling or joystick controlled operation. Freewheeling allows an attendant to maneuver the wheelchair without power. NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 10.2 on page 67. 1. Locate the motor release handles on the motors protruding through the shrouds by the rear springs. 2. Perform one of the following: • To Disengage the motor release levers ‐ NOTE: This allows the chair to freewheel for pushing if necessary i. Slide the motor lock lever towards the outside of the wheelchair (free wheel position) as shown in Detail "A" of FIGURE 10.2. • To Engage the motor release levers ‐ NOTE: This allows the motors to drive the wheels. i. WARNING

Locate the motor release handles on the motors protruding through the shrouds by

Perform one of the following:
