SECTION 8-FOOTBOARD ASSEMBLY 2. Install the quick release pin by depressing the button while sliding the pin in. Make sure the detent balls are fully released beyond the outer edge of the tube (Detail "A" of FIGURE 8.3). Loosen the jam nut and set screw located underneath on the backside of the footplate. 2. Adjust the set screw in or out to obtain the desired footboard assembly angle. 3. Thread the jam nut and washer inward until it is flush with the footboard bracket. 4. Securely tighten the jam nut and washer to secure the mounting screw in place. Install the quick release pin by depressing the button while sliding the pin in. Make
sure the detent balls are fully released beyond the outer edge of the tube (Detail “A”
of FIGURE 8.3).

1.

3.

Securely tighten the jam nut and washer to secure the mounting screw in place.
