DIS-200G Series Gigabit Ethernet Switch CLI Reference Guide Command Default Level Level: 15. Usage Guideline The physical port is valid for this configuration. This command is also configurable for port channel member ports. The command will cause the port to enter the disabled state. Under the disabled state, the port will not be able to receive or transmit any packets. Using the no shutdown command will put the port back into the enabled state. When a port is shut down, the link status will also be turned off. Example This example shows how to disable the port state of interface Ethernet 1/0/1. Switch# configure terminal Switch(config)# interface Ethernet 1/0/1 Switch(config-if)# shutdown 89

Usage Guideline
