Hauling Cargo 2/3 OPERATION 1/3 Your ATV has been designed to carry or tow a certain amount of load. Always read and understand the load distribution warnings listed on the warning labels, and never exceed the weights specified in your owner's manual supplement. Cargo weight should be evenly distributed (1/3 on the front and 2/3 on the rear) and mounted as low as possible. When operating over rough or hilly terrain, reduce speed and cargo to maintain stable driving conditions. Maximum Towing Capacities Refer to your owner's manual supplement for model specific towing capacities. When towing, reduce the rear rack cargo load capacity by the amount of trailer tongue weight. Never tow any trailer on a grade steeper than 15°. Belt Life Use low forward gear when hauling or towing heavy cargo to extend belt life. 61
