Main Switch (2) - To start the engine, slide the stop switch to the center "run" position and turn the main key switch clockwise past the "on" position. Release the key when the engine starts. NOTE: Turn off the main switch to end all electrical power to the vehicle, including the cooling fan and lights. WARNING Leaving the keys in the ignition can lead to unauthorized use of the vehicle resulting in serious injury or death. Always remove the ignition key when the vehicle is not in use. Engine Stop Switch (3) - The engine will not start or run when the switch is in its "off" position. Its purpose is to provide the operator with a quick means of engine shutdown in case of an emergency. To stop the engine, slide the stop switch either right or left to the "off" position. NOTE: Turning off the engine stop switch will shut off all electrical power to the vehicle, with the exception of the cooling fan on some models. On those models, use the main switch to shut off the power to the cooling fan. 37
