Clearing Clogged Impeller Occasionally, weeds or other debris may lodge in the impeller/jet pump, severely impairing performance. This foreign matter must be completely cleaned out for the jet pump to function properly. Shut off the engine, and beach the craft. NOTICE Rolling the watercraft to its STARBOARD side can cause water in the exhaust system to run into the engine, with possible engine damage. the engine is running. Stop the engine and
pull the lanyard key off the stop button before
checking the pump for debris.
